You might be well aware of those GUI widgets better known as toolbars seen at the top of the window just below the URL bar or awesome bar of your favorite web browser housing buttons, icons or menus for easy one-click access to your favorite locations. 
Here is the important step in adding toolbars or extensions to your browser window.
When you click on the link that provides the toolbar or add-on, a bar appears at the top of your browser asking whether you wish to allow that site to provide extensions. All you need to do is click Allow to install that software for your browser.
In the Software Installation screen, click 'Install Now' and after the installation is complete restart your browser to see the toolbar in action.
