What?
I've configured Automatic Updates on my Windows system to automatically download updates for me when they're released by Microsoft, but let me choose when to install. After that all I am left with is just keep a check on a yellow icon that appears in the notification area far right of the taskbar near time display whenever new updates are available for my system. When you hover your mouse pointer over it, the following message is displayed - "Updates are ready for your computer. Click here to install these updates."Here is How You Can Configure Automatic Updates:
To access and configure automatic updates on your system,- Go to 'Start ► Run... and type wuaucpl.cpl and click OK'.
- Doing as given in step 1 opens Automatic Updates window for you to configure it choosing your desired update option and help protect your PC.
As mentioned under Automatic Updates, Windows can regularly check for important udpates and install them for you. (Turning on Automatic Updates may automatically update Windows Update software first, before any other updates.)
