Twitter recently introduced its official Top Tweets account that employs a special algorithm to track and retweet some of the most interesting and popular tweets spreading across Twitter.

Much to my surprise, I found by visiting the account that it is following everyone on twitter and its locations is set to everywhere. I haven't seen such an account on twitter till now that can follow everyone and located everywhere. That's the greatness of toptweets.

Standard input devices for computers are none other than keyboard and mouse. Here is some basic information on keyboard and mouse.

Keyboard

The most common standard input device used for computers in keyboard. Both the data and programs can be inputted using keyboard and it is most useful for interactive dialogue. More like a typewriter it has all the alphabets, numerical and special characters found on a typewriter. Usually standard keyboards come with 100/102 keys which include the following 5 groups of keys.

• Alphanumeric keys


• Numeric keypad


• Function keys


• Cursor movement keys


• Modifier keys


• Special purpose keys

Computer Mouse

Computer mouse shown above has two buttons and a scroll wheel, which can also be used as a third button for advanced operations. The various operations that can be done using mouse include clicking, left-clicking, right-clicking, double-clicking, dragging and dropping. The left mouse key is used for selection if pressed once. When double clicked, it enters into a folder or opens a file. Whereas right mouse button when clicked gives the properties of the related item. Needless to say, click is pressing of mouse button once and double-click is pressing of mouse button twice quickly without moving the mouse.

Apart from these two standard input devices, some of the other widely used input devices include trackball, joystick, light-pen, touch-screen, scanner, digital-camera, microphones, bar-code reader, speech recognition, PC video camera and touch-pad.

Director of the UC Irvine's Beckman Laser Institute - Bruce Tromberg and assistant researcher Albert Cerussi have developed a Handheld Laser Breast Scanner (LBS) Instrument for better detection and diagnosis of breast cancer that can tremendously enhance the treatment and quality of life for breast cancer patients.

The Handheld Breast Imaging Device employs a sophisticated new technology based on the principle of frequency domain photon migration that watches the scattering and absorption of laser light as it moves through the tissue and can produces a metabolic spectral fingerprint of each patient that helps in accurately distinguishing between malignant and benign growths of the tumor and thus providing a way to tell whether those breast tumors require aggressive treatment or not.

The UCI Laser Breast Scanner can also be really helpful in evaluating the effectiveness of chemotherapy and adjusting its dosage based on how a patient responds to the treatment as it can supply detailed metabolic information by measuring hemoglobin, fat and water content, as well as tumor oxygen consumption and tissue density during the entire course of the treatment.

Whenever you search on Google, it automatically issues a new cookie with a new ID before sending the search results. In this way the Google search servers can keep track of the IP address from which the search terms are being sent and thus can tell which searches are coming from the same person. Using the Google search this way, one cannot serve the purpose of being private or anonymous in getting Google search results. This is where Scroogle is at its best and plays an important role.
